MooreCo Inc's Green Erase™ Awarded EPA's DfE (Design for the Environment) Seal of Approval
The EPA's Design for the Environment Program (DfE) has awarded MooreCo's proprietary Green Erase™ Whiteboard cleaning solution their seal of approval. The DfE Program restricts the use of their logo to products thoroughly assessed by their DfE scientific review team and proven to contain the safest possible ingredients.

To receive this prestigious honor MooreCo's Green Erase™ whiteboard cleaning solution went through a rigorous review process by the DfE scientific assessment team. Each ingredient used to manufacture Green Erase™ was screened for potential human health and environmental effects and based on this screening process, expert judgment, EPA predictive models and currently available information, the scientific team determined that Green Erase™ be granted use of the DfE logo.

MooreCo has opened an 8000 square foot showroom and training center in the South Congress area of Austin, Texas.
"The immediate focus of the space is to draw attention to the use of visual communication walls, boards and mobile boards as the ultimate in collaborative tools. With new flexible and functional furniture along with integrated audio/visual products, we are establishing an updated, sophisticated tone as guests enter the space and experience the product display areas," said Jeanne Swift, Senior Vice President at MooreCo.
MooreCo can also space plan furniture layouts and material specifications for the Visual Communications, furniture and audio/visual products on display.
"The advantage for our visiting guests and for customers using the space is to see fresh ways to specify our introductions and creative uses for our modular products," said Greg Moore, President and CEO at MooreCo. "The new location fits well with the evolution of the progressive and contemporary image of our brand".

The MooreCo TAA compliant products micro-site has launched at http://taa.moorecoinc.com.
When one of our products is labeled as TAA compliant, it indicates that the product follows the guidelines put forth in the Trade Agreements Act (19 U.S.C. & 2501-2581), which is intended to promote products either made in the USA or made in free-trade friendly countries. These guidelines stipulate that United States government entities or entities acting on its behalf should purchase products either made in the USA or in a TAA approved country.
By purchasing our TAA compliant products, government contractors and government buyers can ensure that they are in line with the Trade Agreements Act. Most of our whiteboard, tackboard, and chalkboard products are made in the USA and a large number of our office furniture and other products are made in TAA approved countries.
